About Course

Course Description: This course will provide an overview of hazardous locations as defined in Chapter 5 of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Specifically, this course will focus on hazardous locations in Class 1, 2, and 3 environments, including definitions, installation requirements, and inspection procedures. Students will gain an understanding of the importance of proper installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in hazardous locations.
