PACIFIC NW TRADE SCHOOL / YOUR INFORMATION
Pacific NW Trade School Terms of Service
Understand your membership, your responsibilities, and how your school account works.
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pacific NW Trade School (PNWTS) public website and PNWTS educational services and memberships. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services or purchase a membership. Any mandatory rights you have under applicable law remain in effect.
2. Our services & Tough Crew
PNWTS provides trade education, online coursework, programs, and live instruction as offered. This website is the public school website. Students authenticate through the shared PNWTS / Tough Crew account system and use Tough Crew for their authenticated student account, learning management system, courses, progress, and student dashboard.
PNWTS memberships provide access to eligible PNWTS educational services through that platform. Tough Crew may also provide separate workforce or other services subject to its own terms and privacy notices. A PNWTS membership does not grant access to every Tough Crew service.
3. Eligibility & registration
Provide accurate registration and enrollment information, keep it current, and meet the requirements published for your chosen program. You must have authority to accept these terms and authorize payments. Where applicable, a parent or guardian must provide required consent or authorization for a minor.
Keep your credentials secure, use your own account, and notify your school administrator of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own activity and for taking reasonable steps to protect your account. Do not impersonate another person or submit false qualifications, attendance, or completion information.
4. Memberships & recurring billing
The following monthly plans apply when paid enrollment is available. The pricing page currently describes paid memberships as coming soon; viewing these terms or creating an account does not activate a paid subscription.
- PNWTS Student Membership — $30/month: full access to PNWTS programs, online coursework, and live instruction offered under the plan.
- PNWTS Washington Electrician Membership — $50/month: full program, coursework, and live-instruction access plus Washington electrician CEU access, subject to the course-specific requirements below.
Subscriptions automatically renew each month until canceled. At purchase, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method for your selected plan and any applicable taxes disclosed at checkout. Stripe processes subscription payments. Billing amounts, renewal information, and any additional charges must be disclosed before you agree to purchase.
Manage PNWTS membership billing from your Tough Crew account, with Stripe handling subscription and payment processing. Keep your payment information current. PNWTS will communicate material price changes before they apply, with an opportunity to cancel and any additional consent required by law.
5. Cancellation & payment suspension
Canceling membership: cancel recurring PNWTS billing through the membership or billing controls in your Tough Crew account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Eligible paid access continues until that period ends unless a separate suspension applies. Save your cancellation confirmation; contact PNWTS if the controls are unavailable or you need assistance.
Nonpayment: if a payment fails or your membership becomes unpaid, paid PNWTS access may be suspended. When payment is successfully restored, eligible paid access may be restored. Suspension does not itself cancel recurring billing; cancel the subscription if you want to stop renewals.
Your records: cancellation or suspension for nonpayment does not delete your Tough Crew / PNWTS account, course progress, grades, certificates, or other school records. Records remain preserved under applicable retention policies; preservation does not guarantee continued access to paid coursework. Permanent deletion is a separate request described on our Account & Data Deletion page.
6. Plan changes & refunds
Available upgrades and downgrades are managed through your Tough Crew account. Review the effective date, price, access changes, and any proration or credit presented before confirming a change. Do not assume a change takes effect immediately or creates a refund. Contact PNWTS if these details are unclear.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable, including unused portions of a billing period, except where required by law or expressly stated by PNWTS. Cancellation alone does not create a refund entitlement. Contact PNWTS about billing errors or a specific refund request; this policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
7. Coursework & live instruction
Course offerings, instructional materials, instructors, schedules, and delivery methods may change. PNWTS may update content for accuracy, safety, or program needs and will communicate material changes affecting enrolled students as appropriate. Access is subject to the applicable plan, published prerequisites, schedules, capacity, and technical requirements.
Attend live instruction as scheduled, complete required work honestly, and use appropriate equipment and a reliable connection. Sessions may need to be rescheduled or canceled. Recordings are not guaranteed; if a session will be recorded, notice and any required consent will be provided. Do not record or share other participants without authorization.
Education does not guarantee employment, licensing, certification, examination results, or regulatory eligibility. Instruction is not a substitute for required supervision, permits, applicable codes, or safe work practices. Do not perform hazardous work beyond your training or authorization.
8. Washington electrician CEUs
The $50 plan includes access to Washington electrician continuing education offerings. Membership or access alone does not award CEUs or satisfy license-renewal requirements. Review each course's published eligibility, attendance, assessment, identity-verification, completion, and reporting requirements before enrolling. Confirm that a particular course meets your licensing needs with the applicable authority. These terms do not represent that PNWTS or any course is accredited, state-approved, or authorized for a particular credit; any applicable course-specific status must be separately verified.
9. Conduct & acceptable use
Treat instructors, staff, and other students respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, cheat, submit another person's work as your own, falsify records, share account access, or disrupt instruction. Do not use the services unlawfully, introduce malware, probe systems without authorization, circumvent access controls, scrape protected content, or interfere with another user's privacy or security.
10. Intellectual property
PNWTS and its licensors retain rights to their course materials, videos, assessments, branding, software, and other content. Your membership gives you limited personal, nontransferable access for authorized educational use while eligible; it does not transfer ownership.
Except with permission or as allowed by law, do not copy, download beyond authorized features, record, resell, sublicense, publish, or distribute course materials or assessment answers. You retain rights to your original submissions and grant PNWTS and its service providers permission to process and use them as needed to deliver instruction, assess work, and maintain educational records.
11. Third-party services
Tough Crew, Stripe, and other linked services may have separate terms and privacy policies. PNWTS does not control every feature, availability, or practice of those services. Review their notices when using them. Links do not guarantee or endorse all third-party content, and these terms do not remove PNWTS's own responsibilities under applicable law.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, services and content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. PNWTS does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure service or a particular educational or career outcome. This does not exclude warranties or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, PNWTS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the services, including lost profits or opportunities. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable, and does not limit nonwaivable consumer rights.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify PNWTS for reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from third-party claims caused by your unlawful use of the services, infringement of another person's rights, or material violation of these terms. This does not require you to indemnify PNWTS for its own misconduct or for obligations that cannot lawfully be shifted to you. PNWTS will provide notice of such a claim and reasonable cooperation in its defense.
15. Suspension & termination
PNWTS may restrict or terminate access for material violations, safety or security threats, fraud, legal requirements, or nonpayment. Where appropriate, PNWTS will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue; immediate action may be needed to protect people or systems. Access restrictions do not automatically erase records. Fees lawfully owed remain subject to applicable law, and provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply.
16. Account deletion & retention
Account deletion requires a separate request and may require identity verification. Because Tough Crew hosts the shared account, PNWTS must coordinate the request with Tough Crew and clarify whether it concerns PNWTS data or the entire shared account. See the deletion-request workflow before proceeding.
Eligible deleted data may be irrecoverable. Certain educational, completion, certificate, transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute, and other business records may be retained for legal, regulatory, applicable accreditation, or necessary educational-recordkeeping obligations. Retention for a possible applicable obligation is not a claim of accreditation. Retained records remain subject to appropriate access restrictions and the Privacy Policy.
17. Governing law & changes
Washington State law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles and subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
PNWTS may update these terms and will post the revised version and date here. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means, with advance notice or renewed consent where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.
18. Contact PNWTS
For policy questions or help with your account, contact your PNWTS school administrator. Open your Tough Crew account to review your account information.
